I recently visited lake James and used Northwest Landing. Its centrally located and they have fuel available. The charge $7.00 each time you use the ramp (launch and retrieve). Public access is on Big Otter lake, part of the lake James chain, but you'll have a fair amount of boat travel from big otter back to lake James.

Yes over at The Corner Landing Inc. They have pontoons for rent and i do believe they are pet friendly

I think you may have the wrong lake. This is Lake James in Steuben County. We are not anywhere near Tippecanoe.

Believe there is one off snow lake or you can go to public access on jimerson , if you don't mind paying little bit there is corner landing

No snakes to my knowledge, there are territorial swans though. Best places to swim are at the hotel or if you know someone who lives there and has a shallow docking area.
